About this route

Opens with the hardest challenge in the first 1.5k — 57 metres up toward Stand — before descending into the woodland network via Snape Hill Wood, Fat Hurst Wood, and Little Hurst Wood. Giant's Seat Wood and Clifton Country Park form the lowest point before the Irwell Sculpture Trail and Outwood Country Park bring the route back up, with Nickerhole Clough and the canal towpath completing the return. A demanding 8.3k with 106 metres of elevation.
