About this route

The route earns its metres early — a sustained 61-metre climb in the first two kilometres takes you up through Chapelfield and past Ringley Old Hall before a steep descent into the woodland basin below. From there it threads through the full length of the Outwood Trail. This is a lovely varied loop with nearly 100 metres of climbing and a proper mixed terrain
