A classic loop along Radcliffe Moor Road before swinging north through Bolton Road and back via Bury Road and the Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal. The main 28-metre climb comes mid-run between kilometres 3 and 5 — well-timed for when the legs are properly warmed up — with a flat canal finish back to the market.
