Canal north to Withins Reservoir, then extending past Elton Reservoir and the Daisyfield Site of Biological Interest before returning south on the towpath. At 47 metres across 8.7k it's a long, largely flat trail run - the two reservoirs and the Daisyfield SBI give this route more to look at than most.
